How to use Lifestyle-Manipur

A simple, step-by-step guide to running your store — every screen and every field explained.

Getting started

Lifestyle-Manipur gives your business its own online store — products, services, bookings, a café menu, delivery and payments — all managed from one dashboard on any phone or computer.

To begin, our team sets up your store and switches on the features you need (for example, a salon gets Services and Bookings; a shop gets Products and Orders). You'll get a login. Then you just fill in your products/services and you're live.

You only see the sections your store uses. If you need a feature turned on (or off), just ask us.

Logging in

Open your dashboard and sign in with the email and password we gave you.

  • On a phone, tap “Add to Home Screen” when prompted — it opens like an app.
  • After logging in, tap 🔔 Turn on alerts in the sidebar and choose Allow, so you get pinged on new orders, bookings and messages (see Alerts & app).
  • Use 🔍 Check my store (bottom of the sidebar) any time to open your live storefront exactly as customers see it.
  • Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password?” on the login screen.

Dashboard overview

The Overview is your home screen. It shows how your store is doing:

  • Visits — how many people opened your store page.
  • Orders & Revenue — total orders and money (excludes cancelled).
  • Pending orders — orders waiting for you to confirm.
  • Bookings — total appointments booked.
  • Sales graph — your sales over the last 7 days (you can change the range).
  • Running low — products with little stock left, so you can restock.

Products

Add anything you sell. Tap + New product and fill in:

Name — the product title customers see. (required)
Price (₹) — the normal selling price. (required)
Offer price (₹) — a discounted price. If set, the old price is shown struck-through and this is what's charged.
Total stock — how many you have. Used only when the product has no colours/sizes (otherwise the grid below sets stock).
Description — details about the product.
SKU — your own product code (optional, for your reference).
StatusActive (visible & buyable), Hidden (not shown), or Out of stock.
Delivery time override — days to deliver this product. Blank = use the store's default delivery time.
Images — up to 5 photos, shown as a slider. The first is the cover. (Big photos are shrunk automatically.)
Sizes — comma-separated, e.g. S, M, L or 10g, 50g, 100g.
Price per size — optional. For weight/quantity items, give each size its own price (e.g. 10g ₹50, 100g ₹400). Leave blank to use the base price.
Colours — colour options, each with its own photo (optional).
Stock by colour / size — set how many you have of each combination. Leave blank for ones you don't carry.
No sizes or colours? Just set Total stock and you're done.

Services

For salons, repair shops, studios — anything you do rather than sell. Tap + New service:

Name — e.g. Men's haircut. (required)
Description — what's included.
Price — shown to customers as ₹100~ (the “~” means “starting from”, since styles/lengths vary). Leave blank for “On request”.
Offer price — a discounted price (optional).
Duration — roughly how long it takes (for your reference; it no longer controls booking slots — see Bookings).

Bookings

Let customers book appointments. You control two things in Settings → Bookings:

Number of staff — how many people can be booked at the same time. With 5 staff, 5 customers can book the same slot; once all 5 are taken, that time closes.
Slot interval — how far apart times are (15, 30, 45, 60 min…). E.g. 30 min → 9:00, 9:30, 10:00…

Working hours

Set the days and times you're open (under Opening hours). Bookings are only offered during those hours.

Customers book from your public store page → Book. Your bookings appear under Bookings → Appointments — tap View for the customer's details, call their number to confirm, or Cancel to free the slot. You can search appointments and get an alert for each new one.

Orders

Every order a customer places appears in Orders as a tidy list. Tap View on any order to see everything — items, customer details, delivery address, payment method, ETA — then set the status (Confirmed → Paid → Shipped → Delivered), add a tracking code, or print a receipt. The customer sees the status and tracking on their order tracker.

  • Use the 🔍 search box to find an order by customer name, phone, address, tracking code or status — handy when the list gets long.
  • Long lists are split into pages of 10 (use Prev / Next at the bottom).
  • COD orders arrive Confirmed; UPI orders arrive Pending until you confirm payment.
  • You'll get a push alert the moment an order comes in.

Delivery areas & fees

Open the 🚚 Delivery menu in the sidebar (it has its own page now) to decide where you deliver and what you charge. Remember to tap Save delivery settings when done.

Default delivery time — days customers should expect delivery. (Individual products can override this.)
Flat delivery fee — charged when you don't restrict areas (use ₹0 for free delivery).

Delivery areas by district

Pick the districts you deliver to. For each district:

  • Set a fee for that whole district.
  • Tick the PIN codes / areas you cover. Ticking a PIN selects all its areas.
  • Optionally give a specific PIN its own price (e.g. Thoubal is ₹60, but one far PIN is ₹100). Blank = use the district fee.

At checkout, the customer types their PIN — if it's in an area you ticked, they can order and pay that area's fee. If not, it shows “not deliverable”.

Leave delivery areas empty to deliver everywhere at the flat fee.

Coupons

Create discount codes in Coupons:

Code — what customers type, e.g. SAVE10.
Type% off or ₹ off.
Value — the percent (e.g. 10) or the rupees off.
Min order — smallest order the coupon works on (optional).
Starts / Ends — the date & time window the coupon is valid. Leave blank for no limit.
Each customer can use a coupon once. After they use it, it's still valid for everyone else until it ends. Customers can see all your live coupons under My account → Coupons. When you publish a coupon, shoppers who've ordered from you get a push alert about the new deal — a great way to bring them back. (New products and services do the same.)

Payments

In Payments, choose how customers pay:

Cash on delivery (COD) — turn on to let customers pay on delivery.
UPI — turn on and add your UPI ID and a UPI QR image. At checkout the customer scans your QR / pays your UPI, then you confirm once the money arrives.

Messages

Customers can message your store with questions. Replies appear in Messages as a chat. You get an alert on each new message, and a badge shows unread ones.

Reviews

Customers can rate and review your products and services (1–5 stars). See them under Reviews. Good reviews build trust and help new customers choose you.

Store settings

Settings is where your store's profile lives:

Store name & categories — your business name and what type it is (helps customers find you).
Description — a short line shown on your storefront card.
Logo & thumbnail — your logo (store-page header) and a card image (homepage).
Contact — phone, email, website.
Location — address, city, state, PIN code.
Opening hours — your open/close times per day. Customers see “Open now” / when you next open.
Social links — Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp — shown in your store footer.

You can also change your password here.

Alerts & app

So you never miss an order, the dashboard can notify you even when it's closed — for every new order, booking and message.

Turning alerts on / off

  • Tap 🔔 Turn on alerts in the sidebar, then choose Allow.
  • The button then becomes 🔕 Turn off alerts — tap it any time to stop notifications on that device.
  • Each device (phone, computer) is turned on separately.

On iPhone / iPad

Apple only allows alerts for apps added to the Home Screen. One-time setup:

  • In Safari, tap Share“Add to Home Screen”.
  • Open the dashboard from the new home-screen icon (not the Safari tab).
  • Log in, tap 🔔 Turn on alertsAllow.

On Android and computers it just works — tap Install when offered to keep the dashboard one tap away, like an app.

Your shoppers can switch on their own alerts too (in My account) — so they hear about your new coupons, products and message replies.
